Hi, I installed Windows Vista on an external hard drive and now I am having troubles. After rebooting, the windows would not boot up from the hard drive, so I boot into my windows xp on my internal and I want to remove it from my external. I cannot do that either. I wonder, how do I effectively remove Windows Vista unless I can still run it from an External, also remove it from my boot screen.

Installing on an External Hard Drive
Using Disk Management you can override the disk-in-use message and format the external drive (allow some time for the second requestor to appear). Using VistaBootPro you can remove the Vista entries from the boot options menu.
